A Sad Experience
The weather was very cold and the rain was heavy,I wandered in
the street with my clothes wet through.I didn‘t know where to go.
It was the second time that I had failed the National Graduate
Entrance Examination.I thought I should have passed the exam this
time . But I was stupid enough ,and I failed it again! I had quitted
my job to prepare for the exam.Unlike last year,I tried my best this
time;I studied day and night,I thought I was prepared well,and I was
full of confidence.But what had happened seemed unbelievable to me.
However,it was true.I couldn‘t deny the cruel fact.It is said"no pains no gains."But what if"only pains but no gains?"
No one gave me an answer and no one even noticed me . A lonely
boy wandering here and there, I was like a lonely wolf, no food, no
home, and no companion
Suddenly , a large advertising board set by the post office caught my eyes. "Say hello to your parents when you left them at home alone." When I saw this, a kind of complicated feeling poured into my heart. I couldn‘t hold back my tears. "Go back home if you want to have a rest." My mother‘s words rang about in my ears. there have been several years since I left home. Why should I have forgot my mother‘s voice for such a long time? I wiped up the tears on my face and went forward to the nearest phone booth......
